Hey! How are ya?
Saw this shirt and thought of you... http://www.fivefingertees.com/suckittrebek.html
Oh yes, I'm sooooooo ready for spring to be here. I see why everyone moves to FL.I'm doing good. Just going to school again and trying to get it knocked out. You're finished now, right?
Well hello there! ;)
Hey, how are ya? Read any Moore books lately?
The History Non-Fiction Group is voting for the Oct-Dec Quarterly Group read. We've had several interesting books nominated. Please take a look and vote if you'd like to join in.
Hey! Glad you had a great trip. That book was fantastic and I highly recommend it! There were several laugh out loud moments for me and some unexpected twists. I can honestly say it's unlike any book I've read to date. What have you been reading lately?
The History Non-Fiction Group is set to read The Linguist and the Emperor: Napoleon and Champollion's Quest to Decipher the Rosetta Stone by Daniel Meyerson for the Jul-Sep quarter. This book discusses the two men whose lives intersected over a love of all things Egypt and led to Campollion solving the mystery of the language on the Rosetta Stone. The book is fairly short - only 271 pages including the Author's Note at the end - and easy to read so it's a good book for the first ever quarterly read. Please join us if you're interested.Jan
I'm good. Too bad I'm not 6 weeks from graduation!! I am acing this Statistics class though. Trying to decide how many classes I want to do during the summer since the kids will be back in IL.
Hey you! How's it going?
Welcome to Better than Starbucks! Look around, make yourself at home, start a new thread or dig up an old one or just read and jump in on the more active ones.
