Hey there. Not much to say, really. I seem to be a book collector, buying them faster than I can read them, (but of course, I often read at the pace of an arthritic slug.) I like books with vampires, unicorns, winged horses, demons, demi-gods, fallen angels, tales of tragic or unrequited love, angsty heroes, hot angsty heroes, magic, werewolves,...more »

Lush, lyrical, haunting, and beautifully written. I fell in love with the style and flow of the prose in this book-the desccriptions were so rich, I almost felt like I was actually seeing through the character's eyes. Beautifully, beautifully written, and my favorite werewolf book of all time.

Hysterically funny, and yet at the same time, insightful and moving and human. This book is definitely in my list of top ten favorites. It will make you crack up, and it will move you to tears. This is the first book I read by Christopher Moore, and has by far remained my favorite of his. It has a softspot in my heart, because I picked this book up during a deep depression I was going through. Will definitely re-read this one in the future.

Quite possibly my favorite book ever. This novel made me a lifelong fan of Gaiman's work. I loved how he took mythology-some of it familiar, and not so familiar, and turned it upside down and twisted it on its ear. From Anubis, to Thor, to Thoth, Osiris, and even Jesus hitchhiking in Afghanistan. Yes, you read that right. Humorous, dark, dramatic, haunting, powerful, eerie, thought-provoking, ...this book has it all. If you even have a slight curiosity concerning the fate of the gods, both old and new, familiar and not-so-familiar, go read this book. Go read it now.

A good follow up to Moon Called. It can be a bit confusing and can get convoluted in her explanations, but I love the different take of vampires being more scary than sexy. It's refreshing, and something you don't see often in this genre. And I love the concept of a coyote skinwalker. Why should werewolves get all the glory?

I look forward to reading "Iron Kissed" the next in this series.
