Dear Raytownsal: I am also in social services, working with homeless and at-risk families to secure stable housing. I am also an author. My debut novel, which won't freak you out, is called HUNTING THE KING. It's coming out in two weeks. As a member of the Suspense and Thriller Shelfari book group, you might be interested in reading what a social worker can write on the sly.
HUNTING THE KING is a fast-paced page-turner that follows archaeologist Molly O'Dwyer into war torn Iraq in search of the remains of Jesus. ForeWord Magazine says: "Fans of intellectual thrillers and historical fiction will find a worthy new voice in Clenott. His best invention may be Molly O’Dwyer, a genuinely likeable heroine who more than holds her own in a man’s world. An ambitious scientist, she is also an observant Catholic whose heart and mind don’t always agree. Given such an auspicious start, the sequel can't come too soon."

While the book isn't available until April, you can find it on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kunati Books and other googleable sites. You won't be disappointed.

To get a good sense of how exciting the novel is check out the heartpounding trailer for the book at http://www.kunati.books/hunting-the-king-peter-clenott/. Or you can view it on YouTube or my web site at www.peterclenott.com. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

I hope you will take the time to view my YouTube book trailer at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-t0K34iU6g. I am doing some research about potential characters to play the lead role in the upcoming movie. Hope you can help me out. As Ralph Eggleston Director/Production Designer of Pixar Animation Studios said,
"I LOVED the book! It's a missing, ENDLESSLY fascinating link to the history of Hollywood. Thank you for researching and writing it!! I hope it's been widely well received, as it deserves to be." Best wishes. Gaelyn

I would be honored to join your group. I am a 55 year old Grand mother and wife and live in Lilburn, GA. It is 20 precious miles north of Atlanta. I have one ancient dog, Megan, she is a mut from the SPCA that we have had for 15 years. My reading varies from the macabre to the sublime. I haven't read Stephen King in many years because he go a bit self important with his subjects. I may try Duma Key just to see if he has expanded. I am now readin Ken Folletts WHITEOUT. I am in medicine, so the subject of this book is very interesting to me. Thanks for writing. Ann

    Hi,
I live at the Lake of the Ozarks, which is not too far from you. Your Golden puppy will be like that for quite some time. But the good thing is your cats can train it, mine did :)
    Happy Thanksgiving!

    Hi:

I thought you might be interested in a contest. It’s wacky, creative and ‘killer’ fun. ‘Create a Corpse’ Contest lets you name a character in my suspense novel Divine Justice. Of course, you guessed it—the character dies

For contest details, just scroll over the following URL, copy and paste into your browser. This is a great contest for avid readers who’d like to be part of the process. I look forward to receiving your entries. :)
