I am the author of the Oz Chronicles horror series for Young Adults. I live in Charleston, SC with my beautiful wife and variety of pets (some of which I love, and some of which I tolerate and some of which tolerate me). I'm your typical struggling novelist who loves to write, read, and write.

June nominations are now up on the Good Reads book Group page. Please vote by April 15th! Remember, if you want to be the next person that nominates, you must take part in a discussion for April's book OR vote in Junes! We will pull a name out of a hat to be July's nominator!

Remember, everyone who votes gets a chance to be the next member to select nominees for the following month. Our April winner was "Soul Catcher" by Michael C. White. Richard, just finished The Takers, the first book in your Oz Chronicles, thoroughly enjoyed it. Wrote a review on my website (www.duskbeforethedawn.net) and will be propagating to Amazon et al. Looking forward to reading the next one.

How can I hate Hersey Kisses? Let me count the ways. . .= D

Try this: put one in your mouth and just let it dissolve -- don't bite it, suck it or push it around. Fell the waxy residue?
Bleh. That's all I can taste when I eat them.

    Hey there!
Thanks so much for the invite. I credit my love of reading to the young adult novels I read from grammar school onward. I still find them fascinating and have a few authors that I will never forget (Ritchie Tankersley Cusick!) I will have to check yours out. I think it is honorable to write for a younger audience and I hope to do that myself soon; kind of a way to give back to what made me who I am today...
    Keep on writing...reading...
