Currently home-schooled and loving every minute of it. Outgoing, book-smarts, and sweet (with a little bit of spice) An avid reader of personal journals and cultural lifestyles as well as some true crime, manga & comics (which some isn't real reading)and the occasional war stories. (ex. War Letters, The Things They Carried, My War: Killing Time In Iraq, etc.)
Currently I'm doing an ongoing project to restore libraries in elementary schools across Philadelphia. I'm collecting donations of gently used books to give the kids what they deserve. Finding a book that talked about the future of man landing on moon (when it's been done already more than once) isn't as hard to find when you shift through some of the books in Philadelphia school libraries than you think. It's ashame that kids aren't receieving the books and references needed and they continue to cut budgets and build newer schools while forgetting about the ones that are already here and have been here for years. Thats where I come in!! I've done talked long enough so don't be afraid to send me a note or recommendation or even a helping hand on my project. I won't bite!
