Yep. Doing good, just the occasional speed bump, but to be expected. Just running around like crazy tying up loose ends. Not enough time to read, but if I stay focused and finish my To Do list, then I will have time soon. I knew it was a novella, not part of the Outlander series proper. Just my attempt at shorthand.

Not quite as hot as the one between Darius and Charlotte is the one where they were 7 day slaves and the way the heroine is treated (name escapes me), Lord Rexton is the man involved. Just bought the next one. Gonna be a hot weekend (in more ways than one!)

Just bought the second one, hope it lives up to your hype. So far, the best chapter was the one between Darius and Lady Charlotte in the punishment chamber!

    DRACULA: Hearts of Stone.
Enter this world of magical vampires. It’s a place where enchantment and biters interweave for an exciting adventure.
It’s a tale of magic, romance and fangs; a tale of valor.
We start with a shiny new pot of boiling water and add too many evil vampires, and not enough of the good biters. Toss in one suicidal Dracula; add a cup of mayhem and a dash of romance. Oh yes, and a pinch of mirth. Stir lovingly and you have a new novel by A. J. Gallant. If it sounds like the recipe for you then you must read Dracula: Hearts of Stone.

    OR
Madman in the Mirror is delightfully different.
A very unique and well written book- MADMAN IN THE MIRROR is on a class by itself- and that is a very impressive class at that- A.J. is a master at creating word images that remain with the reader long after the book is finished- the true sign of a great writer!!

    Hey Janet
I wanted to get back to you regarding The House of Velvet and Glass. I really didn't like it. I found it pretty boring and never got into any of the characters. I recommend borrowing it from the library if you plan on reading it. It gets really good reviews so you might like it. It just didn't click with me. Let me know what you think though when you read it.

Nisareen - So Much To Read So Little Time says

Hi J, the books I added so far were The Selkie Spell, Garden Spells, The Peach keeper, The Angel of Blthe Hill, Artemis Rising, King of Nod and Nobody's Princess are some of the ones I added but I haven't had a chance to go through your whole shelf as yet. We have several series in common which we've rated generously - Karen Marie Moning's Fever series for example and Charlaine Harris' Sookie books. I've noticed you have several Barbara Erskine books which I can't wait for you to read as she's my all time favourite author since my teens. Her books are impossible to put down as they are fast paced and you get so caught up in the characters past and present that you forget what time it is! her books consist of your some of your favourite historical eras - English, Scottish, Welsh, irish, Roman and Celtic. But they are past and present intertwined and stay with you long after you've read the last page. I also noticed Libba Bray's A Great and Terrible Beauty, Karen White's Tradd St series and some Susanna Kearsley books which I also highly recommend.

I look forward to asking your views on titles you've read as I feel that as we are close in age we will have alot in common. Peace to you J, I look forward to chatting to you again :)

Well Janet at 100 pgs it is still a little slow going. Picking up a little. Very different from her last book which I loved. I will let you know what I think when I'm done.

Hi - yeah, pretty upsetting. It is linked to the ladyslot cock-up. She and a couple of friends are the only people 'following' this clone and he has done a good attempt at loading his shelf and groups to try to make me look bad.
I have reported the abuse but it is wasting my whole evening of writing. Pissed off. Thanks for being supportive. It helps.

Your hubby migt like my Bloodwrath - no sex though but very violent comedy (got me into trouble as it is set in our local town and my photo was there saying in big letters 'bestselling author says you are all unhealthy, murderous, morons'. Luckily we didn't get killed - and it sol loads of books! Cheers Chris
