I hope you are enjoying The Lace Reader. I love that book! Its been a couple years since I've read it. Salem is now on my" places to go see" list because of the way it was describe it in the book. Happy Reading!
Wow...a pig with a heart on its side...could be a money maker!
I see you've added British History for Dummies. I saw that in the book store the other day. I love history, especially English history, and have a whole bunch of non-fiction sitting on my shelves that I keep meaning to read...but I keep turning to fiction. Maybe I should stick to the history for dummies book.
Thanks for Hugh's twitter, LOL. I'm having fun browsing your shelf.
Thanks! Love your avatar :-) I'm looking forward to chatting books with you.
What a cute new avatar! :)
We have 124 books in common! I'm now officially following you to see what you find that I'd like to read, lol. I saw Mel Starr's Hugh de Singleton books on your shelf. I actually looked up the French physician Hugh references as his reason for washing wounds in wine, etc., and he existed, although everyone at the time knew puss was integral to healing and thought he was a crackpot. Not sure if he goes in the Good Guys Know Germ Theory club or not. I feel totally vindicated to see someone else as annoyed by that as I am. :-)
Hope you don't mind if I 'follow' you. Based on your comments in the historical fiction group I suspect you and I feel the same way about historical fiction.Melissa
