    Hi Patti. Since you're interested in WWII stories (before, during and after) I can recommend two books you might enjoy. One I'm reading now is "Citizens of London: The Americans who stood with Britain in its darkest, finest hour" and the other is my husband's book "Weeds Like Us" which tells his family's story living under Russian occupation in East Prussia following the War.
