Patrick J. Walsh is the author of two non-fiction books: Spaceflight: A Historical Encyclopedia (published in 2010 by Greenwood Press/ABC-CLIO Inc.) and Echoes Among the Stars: A Short History of the U.S. Space Program (2000, M.E. Sharpe Inc.). Pat has also published hundreds of paid, bylined articles in a variety of print and online publications, and he has taught writing at the university level. He received his B.A. in Literature and Communications from Pace University (Pleasantville, NY), and he earned his M.A. in Humanities at Manhattanville College (Purchase, NY). Most recently, Pat has been producing an online documentary video series, Five Minutes in Space, that focuses on pivotal moments in the history of space exploration.
