    Elder Kimberly,

Welcome to the group, Mentoring Men. I hope you enjoy yourself in the group and actively participate. You have so much to offer and I am looking forward to what you bring to the table. I hope you find nuggets to take with you as well. Please invite your male friends to come and join us so that our conversations may become more vibrant.

I need to remind you that this is a men's group and we focus on issues from a male perspective. Our membership is predominately male, so do not address women in the group. We span all faiths and cultures and no not permit preaching, but format our conversations in a manner that can be understood by those of all beliefs and cultures, since issues facing men span all faiths and cultures as well. We understand that a person's beliefs are fundamental to their opinons and freely express our opinions from that frramework, but show respect toward others as well. The few wommen who were invited to the group were invited because of their maturity and compassion. I hope that you will keep this group uplifted in prayers. I hope that you will be able to personally befriend many members or the group and be instrumental in bringing about growth.

I read what I enjoy also... The author is new too me! I'm beginning to read more fiction. I read a lot of non fiction. I find that when I review a book that stimulates my brain as a health activity and I get to write a journal and I get more from just being a passive reader. The usual are major characters or all of them. Quotations! Book guide questions to answer about the book or chapter reviews. I can't discuss, it was a good book. What about it is good? and what are we talking about anyway, I have never focused on one person, a group of people with literature to read is better. However, I'm willing to try. I saw Let's Get It On and may pick that up today or Sunday. Lots of Love...

We need a book review or guide! I would like to read as a group, two is enough? I find that reading is passive until I attempt a review. That stimulates my brain. I found book reviews on the web that start with characters and chapter synopsis. Try to find a reader's guide soon!
