I was planning on hiking a month of it but my friend and I had a minor disagreement so I am hoping to try a week or two this summer hiking it. I did a bunch of overnight trips but want to try for longer. I read a bunch of his science book but have not finished it, bought it to learn more. It's a very good read, its up their with Sagan, and Dawkins.

It was a good read, and found his hiking buddy to be hysterical between the snickers bars and the orange and cream soda. Also enjoyed the part where he was hidding out at the hotel from the womans bf or was it husband? Excellent book though inspired me to want to hike bits of the trail.
