That sounds promising :) I finished book 1 last night, and it has such a horrible cliff-hanger! I'll definetely add this series to my pile of books I'd like to read.

I'm almost done with the first book! Are the others just as nice? I looked up Rachel Caine's bibliography and she a quick writer, that's always a good thing if you're a fan ;)

No indeed, you don't have to pay attention a whole lot. I'm not half way book 8, and I really like what's happening now with the books coming together. I read that there will be a 10th and final book for the series this summer, curious how it will end.

It's a good in-between read :) The books are easy to finish and nice to read. Some of the stories (I'm now reading part 8) are a bit childish, the love lines are often a bit obvious ('Ah, pretty boy, we instantly love each other forever' - you know what I mean) but nevertheless worth reading. So nothing special or very interesting, but good if you're into a light story :)

Well, it was a struggle, but I finished 'Touch the Dark'! For me it didn't really get better (even at the end I wasn;t really excited to finish the book) so I think I won't give the rest of the series a try. Have you started reading book two already? :)
