Had already forgotten what a doll you look in your photo. Don't you have a pic in a rainsuit and dark glasses so you'd look more bookish? Of course, that might be problematic, too, in a crazed reading environment like this!!! Life is not yet safe for women, I fear... Ii'm off to clean my rainsuit now!

Haven't read Ravan & Eddie (yet). But don't think it's as good as Cuckold. Did you like it? Which other books do you like? (Indian or otherwise)

Midnight's children is brilliant, is it not. You can open the book at random and still find passages of beauty. Have you read Kiran Nagarkar? He's not as well known as a Rushdie or a Mistry, but boy can he write. Nagarkar's "Cuckold" is worth checking out. It's fantastic!

Hi nice shelf! Lots of variety. I liked it a lot. Which are your favourite authors? I am from India. I see that you are a member of Indian writing in English. Did you like Mistry's A fine balance? One of my favourite books!

I come to you for help. I am trying to shake off my reader's block. I am looking for some suggestions here. A light, slightly funny or an ironic book. Something on the lines of "The curious incident.." or "The Namesake". Have anything in mind?

You might want to check out George Martin's series "A Song of Ice and Fire". I really find it difficult to find a fantasy novel that I can enjoy but this series is outstanding.
