I'm sixteen years old and I love books. If you asked me what made the world turn, I would probably say books...there may be some mention of gravity too. I spent most of my early teenage life reading books, it was how I escaped..well, everything!
Fantasy is my favorite genre, as you can probably tell by my shelf, but I like all different... more »

    Hi Nisie,
I read one of your postings, where you were asking for a solid fantasy book that had an intricate plot, yet easy to get into; a challenge of some sort because of your obvious love for the works of who seems to be your favorite author. Well, I think I can help you with that.
I think you should check out this relatively new fantasy novel; it's by Ricardo Chévere (me), and its first title is DRAGONS: The Essential Ties. This book has become a favorite for not just fantasy lovers, but even for readers who would rather pick up books of other genres.
But don't take my word for it, go to its facebook page and read the comments and reviews from its readers. Since I recently joined Shelfari, the book is still picking up here, so don't let the small number of readers with it here fool you.
    Enjoy!

    Hi Nisie.
Yes, I think it's quite faithful to the book. Or probably as faithful as Deathnote is to its original series. Many of the episodes are really taken from the manga storylines. They're a lot of fun to read and watch. But I know that Ouran has finished the whole series in only 24 episodes so the rest of the manga series were not translated into anime.
    Enjoy. :)

Your right, everyone loves to read a bit of childish stuff & i like fantasy novels. i have a few on my shelf myself. If you want to read on the dark side of people, you can try 'the Sleeping Doll' by Jeffery Deaver. its ok, nothing great but atleast its not predictable..

I remembered them, along with the two I don't have. Thank you, though. I actually forgot until you reminded me.

I will enjoy, don't worry! At least this way I can keep track of what I've read more efficiently. And so can you, dearest.

Well, i dont know what you would like to read as we dont have any books in common. you read a lot of fantasy novels apart from others. i have read a few but i dint like the books that i read. i am trying to find some good book myself, will pick one from your shelf i guess. i am going to buy Tao te Ching on my next visit to the book store. will keep you updated on what i think as i read it. Also, i agree with you, ther's nothing like reading. it keeps you busy and entertained no matter in what emotional frame of mind you are in. try reading 'The Last Legion'(adventure thriller) or 'Materese Circle' (thriller with a lot of guns & spies) on my list if you like such novels.i like them a lot. I think you will like the The Last Legion too. Also, how come you havent read Harry Potter?

UK, cool. I have a few fans there. I have one fan that I know of in Sweden named Malin. She was in the states and drove 6 hours to one of my book signings. By far, the best book fan I have.

I hope you find it with little difficulty. I think it is on Amaxon uk.
