Learn more about the recent Shelfari update
By now you've noticed that things look a little different on Shelfari. On June 16, we launched “My Shelfari” which gives you an easier way to interact with the site. There’s a new look and a lot of exciting new features.
My Shelfari
My Shelfari is where you'll find your profile, notes, shelf, friends, groups and all of your other connections. No matter where you are in the site, you can easily get back to My Shelfari by clicking "My Shelfari" in the top navigation or by moving your mouse over the My Shelfari link to display a list of links to your content.
Inside My Shelfari, you’ll see links to What's New, your profile, shelf, friends and groups pages. When you put your mouse over links with arrows next to them you’ll see even more options.

What's New Page
What's New is your new home page in My Shelfari. Here you’ll see your new notes, friend requests, group invitations as well as what your friends are reading, the books they’ve just reviewed and new member comments on your books. (my what’s new page)

Pending Requests
If you're the type who likes to take your time accepting friend and group requests, you’ll love this feature. If you ignore a friend request, we'll just move it to a pending requests area in the right column. The requests will be stored here until you accept or decline them. You can also accept or decline all requests from this page. Now you can take your time deciding who you want to add without worrying about your home page getting cluttered.
Your questions are in the right column too, so you can easily track your responses and see when a friend sends you a new question. (my requests)

My Reviews
Ever wanted to see all of your reviews in one place? Now you can! Just hover over your profile tab in My Shelfari and look for "My Reviews". From here you can see who replied to each review and how many community votes your reviews have earned. You can also browse other members reviews the same way. Visit a member&rsquo's profile and hover over the profile tab and click "Reviews". You can vote for your friends reviews right from their reviews page!

New Ratings
Our old star ratings were a little on the small side. We've updated the ratings site-wide with larger, shinier stars that make it easier to remove your rating if you make a mistake. Friend ratings are still orange and your ratings are still green which makes it easy to spot your content anywhere on the site.

Bigger Photos!
You asked for it and we've delivered. Member photos and book covers are a lot bigger in most places. Thanks to those of you who asked about it. They look great!
Books
The all-new books section shows books that the community thinks are interesting. It’s a great way to find your next book!

What’s Popular
See today’s top-rated books and books with the most reviews or comments added today. You can also view most popular this week, this month or the most popular books of all time. (popular books)

Community Questions
The questions the community has asked about your books is now in the books section. Help someone out by letting them know if they should read a book that you've already read. (community questions)

Tags
If you're new to tags, you may not have explored Shelfari's top tags yet. Tags are keywords that members can add to their books to make it easier to find them. The top tags list shows the most popular tags on the site and clicking a tag will show you the most popular books with that tag. You can also see top reviewers, top reviews and new reviews for every tag. Pick your favorite tag and find some great new content! (top tags)

Browse Subjects
A new browse subjects page is a list of key tags that make it really easy to find books by subject. Clicking a subject will show you popular books, top reviewers, top reviews and recent reviews for that subject. (browse subjects)
Authors
There are now two ways to learn more about your favorite authors. You can visit My Authors to see authors of books on your shelf or the new Authors section. Here you'll be able to see the newest and most popular authors on Shelfari.

Top authors on Shelfari are listed with some of their most popular books. Check out their Unbound pages - a place where members can edit and customize their favorite authors. (see authors)

Shelfari Authors
Every day authors join Shelfari and we add their profiles to the Author page. See what your favorite authors are reading or post a note on their Shelfari profile! (see authors)

Recent Contributions
With Authors Unbound, Shelfari lets you share your knowledge of your favorite authors with the world. Add biographical information, photos, videos or whatever you like! Every time a member edits an author's page, their changes will appear on the Authors page so everyone can see what's new. (newest contributions)

The Members page displays Shelfari's most active. See what other members are doing, make friends and try to beat your friends onto one of the lists!
