    The Ancient One says

    - Let today be a day of joy and blessings where dreaming the impossible becomes our reality. A day where we walk with angels through a lush garden of bliss where we lift our hearts high that all may see its beauty as we set our souls of fire with love and compassion for all. Let us today embrace heavens glory and seek to touch every soul in a way that bathes them in holy light and liberates their spirit.

The two books were similar, in that the main characters found themselves wondering how they got where they were; and wondering if they wanted what they had, after all. I have to say, SiD really knocked me off my feet...the characters still stand out a year after reading...not what I'd expect from chick lit (which is where it was categorized at the library). LC, of course, was almost a tragicomedy, like Dave Sedaris sketching the 'burbs... I loved both books--I've reread LC more times than I care to admit...but SiD left me with that sick feeling in my stomach...can't explain.

Another one you might think about reading is "What Happened to Anna K."

Hi, NerdyOZ. I’m from the Booktivity group and wanted to welcome you to our group. How this works is that every month a category is voted on by our members. Depending what the category is for that month, you just need to find a word in the title that fits the category, read that book, and come back and post a review of it.

This month the category is outer space. Hope you’ll join us and have fun!
