My favorite authors and series are: Nalini Singh's Psy-Changeling series, Ilona Andrews's Kate Daniels series, Karen Marie Moning's Fever series, Anne Bishop's Black Jewels trilogy, Patricia Briggs's Mercy series and Alpha Omega series, Nora Roberts trilogies with fantasy elements (Circle trilogy and Three Sister's Island), and Faith Hunter's Jane Yellowrock series. Christine Feehan's Sisters of the Heart series is shaping up to be another favorite.
Give me blood, a bit of romance, paranormal/fantasy, and a kick ass (yet vulnerable) heroine, and I will be happy.
Dislikes: Young Adult, Historical, bodice rippers, comedy (ex. Christopher Moore), Sookie Stackhouse, Riley Jensen, and sex for no reason.
What I'll take a chance on: Mystery, Contemporary Fantasy, Suspense, Thrillers, Romance.
Most of my faves (published pre 2009) are in hardback/paperback, the rest are on kindle and/or audible. My shelf doesn't contain every book I've read, just the ones that came to mind first.
