Hey! Blindness is one of my favorite books! I love most of Saramago's books. There is a sequel to the book, "Seeing." It's defintely not as good as "Blindness" but it was worthwile to read. "Blindness" has been adapted into a film. It stars Gael Garcia Bernal. He's an awesome Mexican actor and very yummy too. Juliann Moore is also in the movie. I see you read "The Road." Wasn't this book extremely intense. I only read it because our book club chose it as this month's read. I'm glad they did. I read it in 8 hours! I wonder how good the movie is going to be. I think that Viggo dude is in it.
Hi Flobs,Is Son of a Witch worth reading? I just read Wicked back in October and I'm just not sure if I want to bother with the sequel. I enjoyed Wicked, but it was long... :) Audra
