You know I LOVED ella - after a doubtful start. I completely understand Emma begging for it....a typical excellent US juvenile fiction. Got everything you need in it - though I have to say, I find the writing style a tiny bit dated - which doesn't bother me but would probably make me hesitate a little in recommending it to children less romantic than Emma; Am supposed to give TTW to Belinda but hasn't even made it into the car - I'll can always pass it via you?AM reading a not bad book about Japan and China in 1930s - I'm so ignorant about the far east...it's french though so probably difficult to get on this site - I'll try
forgotten about Witch on Blackbird Pond - I'll tell Emma about it too - I loved it! By the way, would it be possible to borrow Ella Enchanted NOW before anybody else asks you???????????????????????? am reading a rather odd book but v nice prose style called TIME TRAVELLERS WIFE which I borrowed from Nikki FOuere.
