I have done everything in the theater arts area, acting, singing, dancing, back stage, lights and sound, stage manager, props. I have not worked in film/tv, but my faux twin brother is a stunt man in movies you would recognize.
I love books and have books as old as 1700. I have books my grandma and mom passed down to me
I also collect autographs and pictures with actors. Pictured with me is the late GREAT Don S. Davis of Stargate SG-1. I am honored to have met him a few years ago. My sympathies to his family. 8/1942-6/2008.
I love reading, and read everything from the Bible or biblical related to Nancy Drew aI have the entire Nancy Drew originals in double binding special ed. from the 70's. Koontz, Cook, both of which I have autographs, Coulter to Anne of Green Gables. I love fiction and non-fiction. Scifi to murder mysteries. I have every book Egar Rice Burroughs has written including now unpublished ed. from the 20's. Some of the were banned because of the subject matter, sex and cocaine! I have many 1st editions, which is cool. A recognizable one is The Clan of the Cave Bear. I have many books not listed because they are too old or special ed. only published once by unknown new authors.
I have about 1100 books in my bedroom book shelf that is wall to wall and floor to ceiling. The rest of my books are stored in boxes in the shed. I rotate them around so I can keep reading them over and over. I have read every book listed. I do not list books I don't like or give away to the home school where I teach the twins.
I have a reading club going, I have books in Texas, Nevada, my grandma's room and my twins read. Even my brother who just got married is going to start reading again.
I love pets and they have ranged from goats, fish, frogs, birds, parrot's, conures, dogs, cats of which we have 3 right now, Bearded dragons, raised in my bed, they out grew moms bed and are in a tank now, the turtle now resided in bed and the snakes are jealous and want to live in my bed, but my husband said no. The baby pygmy goats wanted to sleep in my bed too. Last but not least is the young hermit crab named Harriet and she wants to sleep attached to the shoulder of whatever I am wearing, but again my husband said no to the crab.
I collect dolls and have several from the early 1900's, including my mom-in-law's and my grandma's. I even have some autographed by designers. I collect some antiques, but where to put them? Texas? Perfume bottles and purses and shoes. Everything Battlestar Galactia everything,especially the old series. I have met most of the original actors and some writers.
I have trained as a florist, and do weddings, a travel agent, management for 20 years. Just about everything a girl could want to do, clothes stores, shoe stores, toy stores, game stores. Whatever I enjoyed the most. But I was injured on the job at the game store and that was 7 years ago. The surgery was a screwup so now I do nothing but books and movies and autographs to play with.
Thats about it.
