Hey! Good to hear from you! It's busy over the holidays - or at least it seems like it. I am reading The Passion Test. I am really enjoying it! Have you read any Richard Bach? I am thinking about starting the book One. I don't read fiction that much, though. Also thinking about reading Stranger In a Strange Land. I just finished the Astonishing Power of Emotions too. Good to hear from you! Have a great rest of the year! (o:
Thank you so much for your comments on the books. I'm glad you told me what you think of the one "There are no accidents" because I too would have though it was more about experiencing synchronicities. Today I "accidentally" talked to a man I do not know at lunchtime. He approached me saying in a jokingly voice, "Aren’t you a shame reading a book in a public place?" And I laughed and said, "No I just can’t help myself!" He looked at my book "The man from autumn" – a psychological novel by Dr. Mario Martinez (it’s not on my shelf but I mentioned the web address on my profile) and he started telling me about the greatest psychological novel he read as suggestions (I will add them to my wish list). Coincidences that are meaningful are called synchronicity so until I read these books I won’t know how meaningful that was but anyhow I love those kind of meeting. Happy reading!
Hi!Thank you for the invitation. I looked at your shelf again and I choose a few to add to my wish list. So many great books out there and so little time… But I love it! This is the first time I found a site of this kind that really interests me; it had to be about books. If you have time to comment on any that I picked out from your shelf (see my wish list) or maybe just tell me which one was your favourite that would be great! If you have something in mind and you would like some suggestions or you have questions about any of mine please just ask me.Take care, Danie
Hello!I see we have a lots of books in commun, but what cought my attantion is your picture... I LOVE butterfly and there symbole of transformation and I'm curious about where you found it if I may ask.Danie
Yes, we are busy both - I may read one page three nights in a row and that's it, but I love books and love to read, I carry one with me, just in case. I also believe that we single Moms can encourage each other along the way. I'm never to busy for that...It may take a while to get a reply tho. sOK.bella
Mightjustb, What a lovely shelf! We have many reads in common and you have some I wished for, that brings 'em in, now the time to read - that pile grows. Also a fulltime working, single mom, going to school, bibliophile. I just love shelfari - what a great place to be and find some kindred spirits. Can I add you as a friend?bellazeal
Are you ready for Florida? I think this will be the perfect time for you to jump into the entire Steph Plum series. It will be good reading by the pool with your adult beverage. Don't forget to pack your BIG plastic cup. HA!
HI!! It's so good to hear from you!! Sounds like you're having a good summer...hmmm...peach tea by the pool??? OK, so I'm a little nosy! But that sounds really good about now!! It's un-believeably HOT here in GA!!!!I'm currently reading The Expected One and The Dance of the Dissident Daughter. Both are really good! The Goddess group is about to start 2 new books (we couldn't decide between them, so we're just going to have 2 discussion threads going!). Expected is one (which I'm almost finished with) and the other is Priestess of Avalon.Perhaps after school starts back you can grab a good book or 2! have a great evening! keep in touch!!!! ~Claire

Happy Mother's Day!!!
Thank You Thank You Thank You!!!!!!! The almonds worked!!! I knew about the gatorade, I keep a supply (that and Jelly Belly Sport Jelly Beans) in the house all the time, especially now that I'm training to walk 26.2 miles for charity in Sept., I have also tried the peppermint oil in the past, without success. But the almonds worked, hee hee hee! I now pretty much keep a supply somewhere with me all the time. I'm intrigued by the tea idea and I'll keep you posted about that as well. I'm working in the whole "stress" part of my life, relaxing was never really in my vocabulary until a few years ago. The head is better, but I would like it to be headache free, if at all possible and the way I look at it, anything is possible. Thank you again, so much for the suggestion. I have a tendency to ask everyone if they know about anything that I may not have heard of, cause really you never know, and I am always so grateful when something does work, so consider yourself hugged! Take care and I promise to keep you updated when I try the teas.Donna
Hi, My name is Donna, and I'm a nurse and I was leaving Patti The Nurse a note and well, I was trying to find the last note I left for her when I noticed your Avatar. Then, and I hope you don't mind, I read your note to her, and I'm intrigued. What tea book are you talking about? Is it the one on your shelf, something about 20,000 uses for tea (something like that, it was a long day and even though I just looked at it, I have very little recall after working 12 hours) and also I'm wondering about your knowledge of non-traditional medicine. What do you know about treatments for migraines? Any thoughts would be most appreciated. I get them a lot and most of traditional medicine involves taking meds that I'm not sure I want to be on, and noone I know has any knowledge of non-traditional medicine (sad, I know) so I thought I would just ask. I hope that was okay. Also I have to say, I was intrigued by a few others on your shelf as well. Being a nurse and seeing what stress can do to you has inspired me to start taking better care of myself, physically, mentally and well, spiritually too. I hope all of this wasn't too much info for a first note. I look forward to discussing this with you. Right now though, my bed is calling and I believe I will answer. Thanks for any help, guidance, wisdom you can give. Donna
Hey Miss, what ya reading??? Since you only have a dozen to pick from...What did you start with???
Hi 2 U,I am finally reading "The Secret". I may have to watch the dvd again after I am done reading. Must not have been in the mood to watch it when we did. Think it was late & we were tired...Book is GREAT...What R U reading NOW???
Hi Sandy -- Thank you very much for the note. It was a nice to hear from you. I enjoyed reviewing your shelf as well, and noticed that we do have many of the same interests. You had some books on your shelf, that I had forgotten I had read and enjoyed very much. Best wishes to you and I hope to talk to you again.
Hello- Thanks for the note! I have the cards in my nightstand, but just pull one or two out occassionally. I like to pick up a book, like Louse Hay, and have an excerpt speak to me, if that makes sense. Reading seems to hold so many different things for us, pleasure, lessons, ah ha moments, as Oprah would say. Good to see that you and others have enjoyed some of the fine reads that I have. I'm currently reading Beverely Nichols, Garden in the City. He's an oldie but a goodie! Have a great week- Briana
