I have always enjoyed Sherlock Holmes stories, Hercule Periot, Father Brown, etc. I've taken up reading Lilian Jackson Braun's "The Cat Who..." series and Carol Higgins Clark's series..."Burned, Fleeced, etc."
We have several new Christian books in the house as well to read. My favorite was "The Desires of Your Heart." It was a ***great*** book on giving vs. tithing. We have one by Wayne Cordero, John Piper, Jack Hayford, etc. Great books!
Oh, if you've never read "Little Pilgrim's Progess," I would highly recommend it! We've read it several times with our children and they never tire of hearing it. We actually named one of our daughters, Christiana, straight out of this book!
