for sure read the others in the series first. The first book is Guilty pleasures, and Skin trade is book 17. The beginning of the series is really good, but soon become very similar to erotica. If u can stand the repetitive deep throating scenes, then i recommend the series for sure.

Skin Trade, is one of a long series of books. So if you haven't read the others, you need to do that first. Laurell K Hamilton's series are very good, very intense and for adult readers. I believe the first one was Circus of the Damned. I've read these books by Cassandra Clare? They very good. Kinda along the same lines as Laurell, but for younger readers? I'm saying this based on the books I see on your shelf.
