Alright so starting with the obvious: I LOVE to read books. I'm really into fantasy, mystery/detective novels and horror/Gothic novels. My favorite author is Poppy Z. Brite and my favorite novel is Sunshine written by the magnificent Robin McKinley. Anne Rice is another favorite of mine though only her only her earlier work. I read lots of different books but my favorites are the authors who have a magical sort of voice, a lyrical poetic style of prose reminiscent of the classic writers such as Jane Austen, Bram Stoker, Mary Shelly, Arthur Conan Doyle etc. Hence why I am currently majoring in English Literature. I also enjoy books about Japanese culture which is brings me to my second major: Japanese Language. I also love manga which I have a separate shelf for: Last Wizard Of The Century.
