They should be in the local library. I'm not too sure though because I haven't been in a while. If not, the librarian should be able to direct you to a few books that you might like.

Sorry I'm a day late with this. Another English teacher that is on shelfari recommended the following books. They all have a female protagonist that plays sports. Let me know what you think.

Rebound by Adrienne Mercer
Hoop Girlz by Lucy Jane Bledsoe (protagonist is young in this book, though)

Hey Michaela:)

It's awesome that you are keeping up with your Shelfari!! Today you will be getting your assignments for the novel project. The project is due on November 12th. I will try to post reminders each week. Can you do me a favor? Go on and friend some of your classmates if you haven't already. If you see that someone does not have a Shelfari, can you encourage them to join. I want to do an activity with this in the next week and I want everyone to be able to join:)

i read the whole book it was short but good. I can really get into historical fiction and the book kept moving which appealed to me. I hope you enjoy it. Ann Rinaldi is one of my Favorite authors.
