I've been a book lover as long as I can remember! My mom taught me to read at home before I started school, as I had 2 older sisters who were already in school and I wanted to be just like them! Boy did she create a (reading obsessed) monster!
You can find me on any given day, at any given hour, sitting in my rocking chair or on the couch with a book, magazine, or newspaper, or on the computer doing a little research. I love reading about crime, psychology, medicine (especially organ donation/transplantation), and animals. I'm going back and reading many of the classics that I should have read in high school, too, and thoroughly enjoying them! I'm also getting into biographies and memoirs.
Pretty much, if it has words I'll read it! I'll even read a whole book even if it's completely horrible because I feel like someone took the time to write it and I shouldn't cast it off!
I'm 33 and engaged to a beautiful, wonderful man! I am not working currently due to temporary disability. Before I was disabled I did veterinary work and I've recently begun classes to get my masters in counseling so I can pursue that avenue in the future! « less
