Hey Mo! How have you been? My last book which I just finished was called Under the Black Flag: The Romance and the Reality of Life Among the Pirates by David Cordingly. While it is a dry work, it is very interesting and involves some piratical incidents in your area of the country. I hope that all is well. Take care, Joseph

Mo - Thank you for your very kind email! I appreciate the compliments and thoughts. I, too, found your profile impressive... far more than mine in fact. We share many of the same dislikes as well as many of the same voracious appetites. Funny enough, as I looked at your shelves of books I was going to recommend a book - Herman Hesse's Siddhartha - but I should have known that you had already read it. :-) Take care and have a beautiful day tomorrow! - Joseph

    Hello Mo-zy,
Thanks for being my friend. I see you enjoy interior design. I enjoy designing homes. I draw floor plans and building plans. I should have become an architect, maybe I will some day. I have designed and built three homes here in Tallahassee. May God give me greater opportunities. And when I return to building homes (the market is depressed right now), I'll keep you in mind.

    My best,
    Doris

Hi Mo-zy! I'm glad you're here. It's interesting to see what people are reading, isn't it? Looks like I need to do a little catch-up on this site. "So many, many books; so little time!"

Dear Maureen: That is quite a resume. The only similarity we have is that I was the youngest person to be named in the book 'Who???' Well, my children know who I am. I have succeeded at last in getting my first novel published. Since it is my first, I must spendwhatever free time I have promoting. And it isn't nearly enough. The novel is HUNTING THE KING. It isn't the first novel I wrote. It isn't the last novel I wrote. It's simply the first one that got published. I promote so that it won't be the last. The novel follows archaeologist Molly O'Dwyer into the Iraqi quagmire and violence in search of the remains of Jesus. Her faith and her intellect collide. Watch the YouTube trailer if you have the chance. It will give you the best sense of the novel. I'd love to get some feedback, too. It lets me know if some of this promotion is working. Thanks. Peter
