When I was 4 years old my Brazilian parents separated, allowing a British father to come into my life. This was during the mid seventies in Southern California. The USA was more than happy to have endless waves of immigrants as part of their society, so I was raised as an American, to foreign born parents. However, as the majority of my family resided in Brazil and England, and my biological dad moved constantly between cities, I grew up with the influence of plane and car travel, the Portuguese and Spanish languages, and the sights and sounds of a multitude of worlds.
For a little boy who was suddenly moved up into the snowy mountains of California and allowed to ski every Friday night, taken to Disneyland various times a year, and given countless opportunities to study the ways of different people from abroad, I believe the only things left for me to do were- travel, like the year I spent drumming in the streets of Europe, move to other cities and countries (like where I live today in Petrópolis, Brazil), and finally to process all this information into a new book- Serendipity´s Matterhorn, a contemporary fairy tale. So if you think you´d like my story, then take a look at this fiction book, as it´s probably more fun and informative than my real life version. Enjoy, and give me any feedback you want...Thank you.
