Hi Mariet! Its so good to hear from you again! Lets definitely stay in touch. Ok, I love your country and I would love to come and visit you soon. We are the same age and thats awesome! I really like Holland and would love to live there again someday soon. Oh yes, thank you for the note! And if you have not yet had a chance to see that cool device I may have told you about, you should really go see it, and also be sure to check out those excellent links. First just go to the website so that you can see the machine. Then just click on any of those links you see in that box you see below the machine. Those links should help you understand some of the amazing ways that the machine is being used. Im also getting interested in Tai Chi. We have a great relationship and lets stay in touch! Until now, I did not know we were the same age. Holland is great. We can talk more about it too. I think all of that info is great and I hope it helps. So just copy and paste this into your browser and you will see it here: www.thisispk.org/raddemo.html

    Hi Mariet,
I live on Maui. Yes, it is a tourist destination too, but very different from the Netherlands. I'm staying away from that "Holland" word, as you can see. It doesn't describe the country, and I was too late to visit the tulip fields. BTW, given that your Schiphol Airport is WAY below sea-level, why doesn't the US hire experts from Netherlands to tell them how to avoid another Katrina aftermath? We can't stop storm and hurricanes, but you can prevent flooding. Mystery to me. My two cents.

Hi Mariet, Some of your books don't show up on your shelf. It says that you've read a bunch of them, but only a certain amount show up on the shelf. Wow, I wish I could speak 4 languages. I visited the Netherlands and Belgium two years ago. Great history and art! And we went to Kroller-Mueller museum with all the Van Gogh's and outdoor art. We got to ride those white bikes all over. Sorry, off on a tangent. Can you explain what "gezellig" (sp?) really means? We couldn't figure out that we had to ask for our bill at the end of the meal. People must have thought we were newbies. Yes, we were. Go Orange! (We were there during World Cup)

Well, I went to law school there. First I studied law in the US and then after I was done I went over to Holland to specialkize in international and EU law. Things did not exactly work as expected there so I returned home to the US I now live in Washington about 2 hours north of Seattle. I like Holland a lot because its very much different than the US. If I had my druthers, I would have stayed there and never came back the the US. I love Holland because the people are very well cultured and really cool. I also like hearing people speak Dutch It makes me feel really good for some reason. I just feel at home in Holland and would love to move back but I have no way of doing that right now. I would have married Dutch if I had the chance. Im single , never had any kids, and just turned 30. Well, right now Im working on personal development and lots of yoga and meditation. Im studying that book This Is PK Mind Over Matter quite deeply. Its great for personal development. I also enjoy studying the book Think and Grow Rich by Napolian Hill. In terms of personal development, I believe that God is crucial for that. For the athiestic ones I think working with the subconscious mind is the way to go. In this world we have to put faith in something and know that there is something greater that controls everything.

    Cheers,
    Dave

    Dear Mariet
I hope you might check out my new novel Blood Web publishing this month...

Brazen and unconventional, FBI Agent Caitlin Diggs may be humanity’s last hope for stopping an invincible killing machine. A chance encounter has linked a teen drifter with a mysterious crystal. A union between biology and technology now gives the teen the ability to track his prey via a biological Internet. Diggs must take this blood web offline, because if she doesn’t, she too will fall victim to its satanic wishes.

Here’s where you can find it

Yup. But I still cheat. :) I go to the pages of people with the same taste and just copy the books that I owe as well. So I don't have to type all the titles.
