    We are just N. or Tulsa. We lost power for about 9 hours one day and five hours one night. We fared pretty well! It is just so devastating seeing all the beautiful trees in our area so destroyed!

    Some authors I would recommend are some that have recently come to my book club Creston Mapes, Cindy Woodsmall, Amy Wallace, W. Dale Crammer, Chris Coppernolli, Denise Hildreth (I love their hearts and their books) Some other authors that have had an impact on me and my group are Francine Rivers, Angela Hunt; T. Davis Bunn, Ted Dekker (the early years), Tracey Bateman, Deborah Raney, Jerry Jenkins, Lynn Austin, Robert Whitlow, Frank Peretti, Dee Henderson; Net Jackson, James Scott Bell, Laura Jensen Walker and C.L. Kelly just to name a few. It took me a while to get this list together. It is not inclusive - please don't get affended if I didn't get a chance to list some other authors I like too. So, many authors so little time to read them all.
    We are so blessed to have so many good authors with powerful messages. Thanks for asking.

    How was your weekend? My weekend was great! Saturday I went through my bookshelves and gave about 300 books to my church library. It was good knowing that they'll be enjoyed by more people. And I spend Sat. night and Sunday with friends and family ... and worshiping God. What could be better than that?!
