"You know you've read a good book when you read the last page and feel as though you've lost a friend." - I love books that make me feel this way and I'm always looking for new titles and authors to check out!

I'm using August as my month to catch up on my Nora Roberts TBR pile. I've opened a topic in the Reading for Romance group to track the titles read this month for everyone who is participating. Hope you'll join!

    Have missed your posts!

I can't wait, to start Mercy, too. I like Erin McCarthy's writing style and planned to finish the series until I saw it was suspended. I still may read the second one, which could be the last.

I've actually never heard of the authors you mentioned. I'll have to check them out.

Some of my favorites are J.R. Ward, Jeaniene Frost, & Jim Butcher. They write mostly paranormal/urban fantasy. Also like Karen Robards (romantic suspense), Lorraine Heath (Historicals), Lisa Gardner & Karin Slaughter (Suspense), and Suzanne Brockmann (contemporary).

Thanks for the friendship request. I see you're a Nora Roberts fan. I'm listening to Three Fates in my car while I'm driving to work. Love it. So, who are your favorite authors?

I see you've joined J. D. Robb Rules. Does this mean you're ready to try Naked in Death? I hope so since you're such a Nora fan. While the styles are different, the attention to writing and character detail are all there.

    Happy reading!

Btw, I am really liking your avi's.

Thanks for accepting my friend request. Feel free to plow through my shelf for Nora titles. Thus far, I've focused on her book series and have just started reading her standalone titles. I'll check out yours for possibilities.

    Also, welcome to Shelfari!

Awful examples for the series. I believe Midnight was one of those short novellas, which I'm no a fan of. If you ever want to try it again, I'd begin at the beginning with Naked In Death.

I know you're a Nora fan but have you also read the J. D. Robb In Death series?
