    Hi Ma--Thanks for your note about We Need To Talk About Kevin...I've not actually read it yet (I'm too lazy to sort my books into "read" "not read" and "reading" categories). It was recommended to me, so I picked it up. I"ll let you know what I think about it when I'm finished.

    Have you read other books by Palahnuik? I'm super excited for the movies of both Choke and Invisible Monsters. They may suffer by comparison to Fight Club, but I'm going to not to make that mistake.

    I'll be the first to admit that I was a fan of Patterson...but lately I don't really consider myself such a fan. I hated The Quickie and I hated You've Been Warned even more. I didn't think it was possible to dislike a book more than The Quickie, but after reading You've Been Warned I found out it was possible. I'll still read his Cross series because I am still enjoying those. I'll admit his last few in that series have slipped as well, but I'll stick with those for the time being. I'll even still admit that two of his co-authored books are some of my favorite thrillers, but he is by no means a must read author anymore. No way. That's part of the reason I was shocked to see so many people vote for his book in Good Reads. Lately it seems that most people on this site aren't enjoying his books anymore. I'll admit I voted for his book as well, but only because I thought I'd enjoy it the most out of that group, but I'm not feeling up to a Patterson at the moment. You are more than welcome to read any of the other nominees and discuss them. I have a feeling there may be some other people who join you. Or, you don't have to read any of them.

    Fight Club, huh? You little vixen! I didn't know you were a Brad Pitt fan. Actually he and Edward Norton are both pretty sexy in the movie. Let me know how the book is. Wait until July to read it and use your "C".

    Good Reads has chosen a selection for our August book. By a landslide victory we will be reading James Patterson's SUNDAYS AT TIFFANY'S.

    Thanks, Ma, for the add! I look forward to swapping titles with you. My goal, being a two time cancer survivor, is to have a TBR list so long that I will have to live to 100 to get it done! Take that, stupid malignant cells!!

    Sorry--got carried away... :-}

    I know its June and there have been letters aplenty, any chance I can stir the pot? How about numbers? I have some books that nees to be read and several of them happen to have numbers in their titles, some spelled out, some just the symbol. Am I making too much of a mess yet? Just thought I would suggest it. I bow to your wisdom in this and all things!!!!

    I just wanted to write and let you know that I am still participating in the Alphabet Soup challenge, but lately I haven't been doing any reading at all so I'm way behind for the month. I'm still enjoying your challenge, I'm just not doing a lot of reading at the moment.
