Need I say more?
Of course I love books! As you can see from my shelf, I am mostly into Chick / Mom Lit at the moment. But I also love mysteries, suspense, and romantic suspense. Historical is not really my thing but I am reading a couple manuscripts from members of my critique group and I have to say the genre is growing on me.
My own work has been published in greeting cards, magazines, and in various online ezines and magazines. Most recently, three of my works were accepted and will soon be published by DaySpring greeting cards.
I am a member of FaithWriters.com, where I work behind the scenes, writing newsletters and conducting author interviews and book reviews. Over thirty of my weekly Writing Challenge entries have place in the top ten, all of which have gone on to be published (or will be soon) in the FaithWriters quarterly anthologies. These inspirational books can be purchased through Amazon.com.
I am also a member of American Christian Fiction Writers and am currently writing my first novel, an inspirational Mom-Lit that I am determined to finish sometime this year! (The first draft, anyway)
On a personal note, I am coming up on my 19th wedding anniversary to my wonderful husband, Rob, and we have two great kids, aged 10 and 13. Besides writing, I work part-time at a kid's consignment store. I love movies, shopping, spending time with my family, and of course...reading!
