I really liked The Tenth Circle! I finished it because I couldn't put it down! I had a feeling the mom was involved with Jason's death. I really like reading Jodi Picoult!

    thank you!
hope you had a happy easter :)
i have just been looking at the debbie macomber books you have listed (cedar cove series)... what are they like? do they have a "knitting" theme running throughout all the books? they remind me of another series i have been meaning to get from the library... i forget the author but the books are from the Elm Creek "Quilt Series"... i think there are around 10 books in the series so far... do you know of these or have you read them?

I'm reading a nonfiction book called Lone Survivor. It's very good. I am liking it very much. Are you liking The Outlander? I read the synopsis of it and it sounds intriguing. Is it anything like the Time Traveler's Wife?

    hi lulu
i have finished "You've Been Warned", it is now on my "i have read" shelf and i have posted a quick review on it (it's ok there are no "spoilers" in my review:) don't let me put you off... but it just wasn't my favorite by JP. i think you will find that too, when comparing it to some of his better ones. i have the good timing that a group read is about to start in the JP group... and the good luck that it looks like the winner will be "The Jester" which is one i want to read! i don't usually take part in the group reads that i see going on in other groups (partly because i read too slow, and partly because i am always busy reading my own books)... but i will give it a go with the JP group, should be fun.
how did you like "Step on a Crack"? i started this one a few months ago, but it had to go back to the library, so i didn't finish it :(

I also like Kristin Hannah and LuAnn Rice. Like Debbie Macomber, the reading style is breezy and it's fairly easy to imagine yourself in the place of the leading lady in their stories.

I am enjoying the Stephanie Plum series! I would definitely recommend it!

have you read "Derailed" by James Siegel? i will send you a recommendation as i think you will like it :) it is another page turner with great plot twists, and a quick read. i wouldn't bother if you have already seen the movie though... as of course you would already know what happens!

    hi lulu
i think i might include a few more James Patterson on my reading list for this year... it will definitely help me catch up on my challenge, as like you say they are "page turners". i just find his books so easy and quick to read :) i haven't read any of the women's murder club series yet. but i am planning on it, i also have "The Jester" here to read some time soon.

I loved Three Junes! I thought it was a great novel. It had me hooked right from the beginning. I really liked the character development and the circle that the story took...even though it took place during 3 months of June...1989, 1994, and 1999 if I remember correctly. (I thought it was going to be about 3 women named June!) Anyway, the story came full circle without the characters even recognizing it...and I love that! I recommend it. Thanks for asking!

hey lulu... how are you going with the challenge? i have been thrown off track a little, because i had the bad luck of choosing a book that i just couldn't finish ~A Question of Death, illustrated Phryne Fisher treasury, (couldn't get to like the main character Phryne, a 1920's female detective) but i added it to my challenge list anyway (as half a book) with the excuse that if it happens again then two halves will make a whole!! well... it's only fair! it did take time out of my challenge! now i am reading James Patterson "you've been warned" have you read that one?
