I recently moved to Missouri to pursue a BFA at the Kansas City Art Institute. Before leaving Texas, I worked in the Education Department at the Dallas Museum of Art for two years. I graduated with my Master's degree in Aesthetic Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas in August, 2010 and with my Bachelor's degree in Art & Performance from UTD in May, 2008. I love reading and learning and I am passionate about art and music. My favorite visual artists are Matthew Barney and Cy Twombly and my favorite types of music are heavy metal and hardcore punk, particularly straight edge. I was the vocalist for a Dallas-based metal band called Onward We March until January 2011 when I parted ways to continue pushing my interests and abilities. I love Scandinavian culture, especially the myths and sagas, and hope to live in Sweden or Denmark one day. I'm not much of a cook, but I love to share vegan recipes and learn about new things. I'm always looking to meet interesting people!
