I am an east coast kid raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia and by the summers of Ocean City, NJ who, having spent the bulk of his adult life in southern california, now finds himself miles aways from any large body of water on the great plains of the dakotas.

My thought and imagination over the past fifteen years have been stretched and shaped by such authors as Madeleine L'Engle, Eugene Peterson, Henri Nouwen, Chaim Potok, Denise Levertov, James Houston, Frederick Buechner, C.S. Lewis, N.T. Wright, Walter Brueggemann, and Wendell Berry.
