    I see that you rated One Is the Sun as four stars. I thought it was poorly written and could have been better in character developement. I read it because I live in the Deer Lodge valley, and recently had the opportunity to meet the author from whom I bought her signed copy. I thought it to be a wonderful portrayal of how it may have been at the time of the book. Johnny Grant and Con Warren are historical figures; the author is a Warren and was raised in Deer Lodge. Just a FYI, but wanted your opinion on the book if you wish to share.

    Hey! I've chosen some pattern books for you and will try to get to the postoffice on Monday. Surprisingly found some cows and pigs for HRH, the Duchess Shannon. Not too much princess and magikal for HRH, the Princess Zoe, so I threw in some carosel horses--seemed pretty magikal to me! I know at some time I had some oriental patterns, but can't for the life of me find them now. Do not feel greedy even a little bit!!!! I love to pass on things I won't use any more to someone who might use them.

    I think you have what Clark and I had in February. The cough lasted forever!

    One more, & then I'll leave! I have The Queen's Man, too. Sharon Kay Penman is my favorite author! Have you read Here Be Dragons or The Sunne in Splendour? If you enjoy English historical fiction, I highly recommend them.

    Ohhh!! *looks over* I just finished #2 of Tales of the Otori & LOVED it; I bought Grass also & can't wait to get to it. I read Killashandra & The Crystal Singer a hundred years ago, but do remember I enjoyed them. =) I've got Practical Magic sitting on my shelf; LOVE Alice Hoffman. And Wicked - well, I've tried to read that several times, but just couldn't get into it. (Although I do have tickets to go see the musical next weekend, so maybe I'll enjoy that more!) Anywho..great shelf!!!

    How did i not know you were a former proofreader and such?? haha. How do you get into that? Because seriously, i find typos and continuity errors and such ALL THE FREAKING TIME. Like everywhere. On menus, signs, and of course in books and magazines. I would SO love to do something like that...
