    Oh god, The Time Traveller's Wife has got to be up there in my Top 3 favourites, it really is fantastic isn't it? It was actually the first book that I burst into hysterical crying over, and I truly fell in love with Henry and Claire. Yeah, I heard about the movie, and I have to say I'm kind of disappointed over the Eric Bana thing... but I guess that it's the same old 'characters in films never look how you imagined they would in your head' thing. I had kind of hoped that an unknown would have got the role, cause all I can imagine is Henry getting angry and going all Hulk on us... :|

    Thanks for the Newton recommendation, I'll add it to my already-bursting list of books to read.

    Burlington County is just north of Camden County; I live in the little town of Lumberton. We are not too far from Philly, Camden, and Cherry Hill. Less than an hour to most points on the Jersey Shore.
    The Pine Barrens are close by; hundreds of square miles of forest, rivers, bogs, you name it. I consider myself lucky to live in South (yee-haw) Jersey.

    Carl Jung did a lot of writing on Astrology in his later years... one of my favorite
    quotes of his is: "We are born at a given moment in a given place and like vintage
    years of wine we have the qualities of the year and of the season in which we are
    born. Astrology does not lay claim to anything else."

    The wine analogy really works for me. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance,
    and I am sending a friend invite under separate cover. I will post on the Walsch

    Seventeenth century Briatain saw two Civil Wars, the beheading of King Charles I, the transformation of Britain from a monarchy to a theocracy to a limited democracy to a dictatorship and back to a monarchy. Ultimately, there was a further bloodless revolution towards the end of the 17th century as well as a controversy dealing with a faked royal birth. Definitely a very exciting and interesting period! I do not know the specific history of Ipswich, but I know a great deal about British history in general. My favorite 17th century figure is Oliver Cromwell, the Lord Protector, and a very innovative general of horse, who virtually insured that monarchy was restored to Britain with his decision not to accept the throne.

    I had an undergrad professor that really got me interested in British history of the 17th century, and that is the period that my Master's is in.

    I love cooking with garlic! I also do a lot of cooking with turkey meat...healthy stuff! I do not use cream or dairy products in my recipes as I am allergic to milk products; but speaking of British food, I do make a mean Shepherd's Pie....with lots of garlic! I picked up ideas for other recipes while there as well.

    Wales was a wonderful experience in many ways, and not so wonderful in others. I toured Wales and saw a lot of truly wonderful sights, and met some truly wonderful people. I even had the chance to shake hands with Richard Harris after seeing him perform in a play in Cardiff.

    Oh, HA HA! ;-) Guiness and Newcastle Brown Ale and John Smith's Yorkshire Bitter! If anyone working for those companies reads this, I want a spokesman position please! lol I lived in Wales for two years while pursuing my Master's. Never been to Italy, but would love to go some day!

    Well, beyond my projects, during the week I work like a dog, I even barked on Thursday. lol Next time that you make beef stew, try Guiness or Murphy's...nice, dark, and thick. I made lamb shanks recently....oh, so good!

    Thank you. Mostly French and Italian with some other cuisines thrown in. I am still creating recipes so I do not have a set number at this point. I hope to have color photos of the finished entrees. I do not have a favorite cookbook, but I do like the recipes that I have found on FoodTV's website.

    Hi,
    well on the personal side things are so-so. On the reading side they are good. Just in the middle of Joyce Carrol Oates latest "My sister my love".
    Very good, as always, but creepy story about a child skate star that gets murdered in her home. Maybe she got the idea from that murderthing in Colorado.

    Wow, it is wonderful an experience that I am a friend of some artist who is inborn and is pursuing her field very enthusiastically and energetically. I am a slave of imagination, rather slave to the impact of imagination over my mind. I love the people with imagination. And you know the best imaginative faculty is possessed by artists than others, be it a poet, musician, sculptor, architect or a painter like you. I am a poet-cum-short-story-writer, so I can feel how beautiful the relationship this would be. I don't claim to be a painter or know much about it (technically speaking), but I believe I can be a good critic and can well appreciate a piece of art. I would love to let my imagination ensconce itself in your painting work.
