i love masterpiece theatre too!! this past winter they had a special on jane austen books turned into movies. all of them were made by the bbc. i love the bbc.
Hey Linda!I really liked The Lace Reader and am starting The Gargoyle. I have Edgar Sawtelle and hope to start it soon. How are you?? Everything is moving along here. My daughter is having another baby boy in a few weeks, can't wait! My daughter that is the actress is joining the cast of One Life to Live. Have to start watching that soap again now! My boys are doing fine. My husband is feeling stronger now. He has been in and out of the hospital for bowel surgery. Doing well as far as the cancer goes. Taking it one day at a time. I'm back to work which helps me mentally. How are your sons?

Hi, Linda. I am Gloria and live in southeast Florida. It was hot here today...in the 90's. I am a mystery reader, love many mystery writers such as Patterson, M. H. Clark, Carla Neggars, Heather Graham, Woods, Gardner, Alex Kava, Tess Gerritsen, etc. I'm even in an online yahoo group called Mystery Book Swap in which members exchange mystery books with each other through the mail. I joined Shelfari a couple of months ago to organize my endless supply of books.

I have about 50 pages to read. I've really enjoyed it so far. Then I have to read and rank these 4 books for The Reader's Choice Awards. They really aren't my cup of tea. They are short contemporary novels. Maybe they're better than I anticipate. I hop. Then on to letter G. The Glass Castle. Talk to againsoon.

HI LInda! Merry Christmas to you and your family too! Shelfari was having some problems while they were upgrading the site. I belong to a bunch of groups. Check out my home page and you will see them all. There are two private groups, but the others are for anyone to join. Glad to see your back here!! Christmas was wonderful. I have two grandsons now. The baby turned a yr old in November and he was in awe of the lights, bows and wrapping paper. My other grandson is 8 now and still spoiled rotten...LOL. Hope all is well with you and your family!

Happy belated New Year! I have really gotten into this site now. I have 55 friends, and Shelfari has started discussions about books on your shelf. You can start your own discussions too. When you browse around and add friends, then people start leaving you notes. It's pretty cool to relate to people from all over the world. My daughter had a baby boy in November. He was 9lbs at birth, and I got to be in the delivery room! That was very, very amazing. Hope all is well!!
