more »I love mysteries, histories and funny stuff. Also stories which, how do I say it.."move the soul". I am a content wife and mother of three. I have homeschooled them from the beginning and am looking forward to the end! Two are graduated already. I lean on the Lord for my strength and support. All my reading matter is filtered through the scriptures to see if it rings true. The stories I love don't have to have a happy ending, but they had better be an excellent story if they don't.
I have inherited a lot of the books on my shelves. Some of my favorite subjects are: cowboys, sea stories, soldiers, pioneers, memoirs and nature. I have not read all of these books yet, but if I live long enough and my eyes hold out, I intend to. If a book doesn't have an opinion (when I'm finished adding them, I'm only on #1131), either I haven't read it or it's been so long I don't remember enough to write an opinion.
My stars mean:
0 = unread, or unfinished for objectionable content (I have not finished rating yet, so many unrated books are just waiting for me to find the time.)
1 = Didn't like it for some reason
2 = Ho-hum
3 = Liked it, don't need to read it again
4 = Liked it and would recommend it to many
5 = Loved it, need to read it again for the treasures, will keep it on my shelves
