I bought the first book, Highland Wishes, when I saw the video trailer on Youtube and loved it so much I went ahead and bought this book, the sequal. And I am even more impressed. Ms. Burroughs continued the tale of Scotland putting her love of the country into the tale. She shows a strong growth in style, making me care about the characters. I cannot wait for her next book.

Excellent Debut Novel. I ordered this book after watching the video trailer on Youtube. I liked it so much I ended up ordering the next book in the series. Ms. Burroughs puts her heart into the novel, very old-fashioned in flavour so might not please all, but those was more of a saga feel to their books this is worth the time. Enjoyed Her Highland Rogue even more.

I just finished this book. I guess got them out of order. Someone sent me The Ravencliff Bride and The Waterlord, and I love this cover. The waterfall just makes me want to walk right into them, so I couldn't resist. This is the author's second book, so maybe I should have read the Bride one first. But they are not a series, so no worries, I guess.

I have to say, I could NOT put this book down. I made the mistake of starting it just before bedtime, and wow -- I kept reading and reading. Dawn came and I was still reading Dawn!

This was a wonderful book. A magical book. All I can say is I am very in love with this writer.

Highly recommended and a must buy for me from now on!

One of the best time-travel's I have ever read. She ups the bar with each book. I cannot believe how each book is better than the last, when she started so strong. This time its a time travel. Absorbing, compelling, she bridges the strength of old style romances with a freshness that sets her apart. I cannot wait for Blood Moon, the vampire series coming in March.

Wonderful Paranormal Regency. I really loved this book. Bought it a year ago, just read it again and it was even better because I savored every word. Dawn Thompson is a talent and I adore all her books. This one is true Gothic done with style.

Wow! What a super start to a vampire series. I am sort of bumbed out on vamps. So many people doing them. However, I loved Thompson's other books so I couldn't resist. And boy am I glad I didn't. This is dark, chilling tale, much darker that her other paranormals. It's compelling, riveting. I cannot wait for the second one.

Loved it! This is Jon's son's story, the second in the series. Thompson has created a very credible world of vampires, the saviors, The Brotherhood, and one sexy vampire hunter, Milosh. Yum! I cannot wait for his book. Each book Thompson just turns up the level of her writing and delivers me an entertaining read. It's fast paced and kept me on the edge of my seat, and reading with a lot of lights on!

A beautiful highwayman tale. I love the old poem "The Highlwayman" and really enjoy the old costumers that you used to get in Historical Romance. Sadly, no highwaymen of late. So I was so delighted to see this book and to find out MacTavish is the penname for an author that I am simply coming to love. There seems little Dawn Thompson cannot write. I loved it. MacTavish is on my pre-order from now on, right beside Thompson!

Beautiful! Thompson just continues to amaze me with the scoop of her talent. It seems no matter what she tries, I am amazed by her vision and the beauty of her written word. This time its literary erotica, high class erotica, that totally kept me mesmerized. A wonderful Selkie tale! Cannot wait for more in the original series

This book is a hoot! It's a funny, very original and well-executed. I loved the writing and the humor, and hope to read more from this author. A great gift to that friend who needs a giggle in her life.
