I saw that you put Bonk on your "book" list. So did I. How could we not, what a great title. Here is my review. Interested in girls perspective.Bonk / Mary RoachA rollicking and random “bonking” through the up and down and down and dirty of all things sexual. Sure it is science writing, in the same way that Andy Rooney is a serious news reporter. Roach writes to both enlighten and to throw an eyebrow. Often her writing and wit are so sharp that she over delivers on both. The sexual enlightenment is so very, very vivid it is cringe worthy to the point of leg crossing. If you don’t yell, “Ouch!, Gross! Too Much! and Wait a Minute!” at least ten times, you’re less of a prig and a prude than this pecker-head. Amazingly for the smarmy subject she covers, her writing is never disrespectful to the topic at hand (pun intended). Some times the detail is uncomfortable to the point of nausea... but never disrespectful. Conclusion: A very strange mix; the bedfellows of hard science and hard-ons. There was way too much science for the merely sexually curious and a way too much devotion and detail focused on the sexually bizarre to be taken scientifically serious. What can I say, Mary Roach sent me all a twitter.

Hope you like mysteries. That's about all I have on my shelf. Sheesh! I really need to expand my library. You need to check out Squids Will Be Squids. Zoe brought that book home 3 times from the library. It's her favorite book even though it's little morals and fables that are over her head. I recommend it!
