I see you've just read Franham's Freehold. How was it? I haven't gotten to that one. I'm still half way with Have Spacesuit Will Travel and have taken a detour through Cordwainer Smith (We the Underpeople) and Neal Stephenson (The Diamond Age, Cryptonomicon). I should finish it.

Sorry I haven't had a chance to answer your informative e-mails yet. It's been a stressful time in my life, but I'm coming around ... slowly but surely. Much catching up to do.
Your dog in the photo is so-ooo cute. A great companion, I bet.
I just finished reading JENNA OF ERDOVON, a dragons-and-sorcerers debut novel by Nicholas Dollak. He's first and foremost an artist, having illustrated three children's books written by Preston McClear. I came to admire his illustrations for those books, my favorite being THE BOY UNDER THE BED. McClear encouraged him to write this book and I'm glad he did. It's really different, full of adventure and interesting characters.

Thanks for the invite.....it seems like an interesting and
fun site.
I still haven't listed all the books I've read but the last book I read was Anais Nin by Diedra , a few months ago. Most of the books I've read are borrowed from the Public Library.....can't really afford to buy books all the time but do have some I bought on sale from the library or at flea markets.
I'm going to check out some of the books on your shelf and later on I'll let you know what I think.
