I might want to read the Night Stalker book. The couple that he attacked in Mission Viejo, that was in the same county I lived in. You wouldn't believe how fearful people were back then of this guy. My friend lived in a yellow house and there was a rumor that he favored those so she was very scared. Everyone breathed a huge sigh of relief when he was caught in east L.A. It was the 80s but I remember like it was yesterday!

Good! We went camping last weekend and I was nearly eaten alive by bugs. I'm still recovering, lol. Today was the kids last day of school and they don't go back until late August. Luckily, I signed them up for swim lessons and renewed membership at the YMCA. How's life? It's warming up here so it must be cooling down there.

My best friends son, the one who has read my copy of Helter Skelter, Dark Dreams and is now reading The Evil that Men Do, will probably steal err, borrow it before I can read it a third time.

Thanks for your input on Deadly Innocence. What I remember most from that book was the recollections of their friends and a little bit of the trial. I don't think they talked to Paul and Karla's parents or did they? Are you going to keep the book? Isn't there one more book on them? I thought I remembered there being 3. There could be many more than 3 by now for all I know. I'm sure those videotapes are ghastly. I wouldn't want to be a juror watching those. And to think they taped them to watch them again and again. Creepy!

I don't remember the typos and inaccuracies...It was probably one of those TC books that was rushed to print while people's memories were still fresh. That's disappointing though! I think for the last decade I would just open the book up to look at the pictures.
Have you noticed that with newer books that they are full of spelling and grammatical errors? I wonder where all the editors have gone. It's frustrating to read sometimes.
