Just wanted to write quick and welcome you to the Author Review Chat group. Hope you will jump right in on discussions and such. Take care!
Re: voting--only one vote! I know--there are so many good Western Romances to choose from--and isn't that a great thing! I think the genre is finally making a comeback. With several movies and a NY Times spread on Hollywood going West--maybe it's our time! Hope so--Anne
Hey Linda, did you check out LLM's interview on LWR? And Thanks for your help with JT. Now did you also vote for Best Western Romance? Tough slate of candidates! Great gift list for the holidays though!--Best-Anne

That should be my first fict - To Keep a Promise
Yes, I've been an Agent for better than a year (and 900 submissions) ago. Very interesting. Currently just finished rewriting my fict novel for an editor thinking about bringing it back out - but at 90k instead of 50k. Just finished adding the necessary word count. And you?
Linda, good to see you on here - been a while

Hi, Linda. Wow, a MONTH later I check my Shelfari page and see a message from you. Sorry to be so slow. Jannette Oke is so talented she almost single handedly invented modern Christian fiction. Before Left Behind came along there was Janette and a handful of others out there.I love her work.

Hi Linda! Thanks for being my Shelfari friend. It's nice to meet you. GO western romances! :)
Yes I read MCK's Choice and of course enjoyed it. I think I'm up-to-date on all her westerns, historical and contemporary, as well as her suspense--hmmm. What was that about obsessed? But when you like an author that is how it goes. Her publicist did say she'd be doing Gideon's story (hopefully, because I too liked his character) but apparently Wyatt comes first.
I just finished both Redemption and Knight of the Texas Plains. I enjoyed them both. Knight had a really strong emotional pull and I loved the character of Ollie in Redemption. So glad I found your books Linda. And thought you'd be interested to know that Linda Lael Miller agreed to be in our author's spotlight on Lovewesternromances.com in December and tell us why she loves westernromances. We're thrilled. Her publicist said her next book is about Rowdy's brother Wyatt. Should be fun!
I love Jennette Oke. Love Comes Softly is so beautiful. But just prepare to cry your head off through most of her work.

Linda, thanks for the good wishes on our anthology, WESTERN WINTER WONDERLAND! I'm hoping the same for you when yours comes out in February! Can't wait!
I read Touch of Texas--the villian is really vile. Am currently reading Ana Leigh's His Boots under her bed--it's okay so far. I was really touched by LLM's Payton Yarboro and his relationship with Rowdy--and his fate. Reading your Redemption next!
Hey Linda have you finished A Wanted Man yet? What did you think? Just picked up your book Redemption--can't wait to read it--Best!

Dear fellow Author, I wanted you to know that I have started providing low cost advetising space on my website for authors and I'll be reviewing books by request. If you have an interest in these services write to:SuburbanFiction@gmail.com
Humm--I don't think LLM did Katherine's story--at least not yet. In the contemporary McKettrick series I remember they mention how the women always keep the surname and refer to Katherine (I think) but that's all. Isn't A Wanted Man great! I couldn't put it down either-such fun! And hot too!:)
I loved the recent McKettrick Trilogy and also the historic series on the "original" McKettricks with Shotgun Bride, McKettrick's Choice et.al. I know she's doing well with her contemporary suspense novels but I hope she never gives up Westerns.
