I have had a life-long passion for reading that started when I was in the third grade. I began reading the Little House on the Prairie, by Laura Engels Wilder. She took me back into the hard lives and times of those brave pioneers that helped to make this nation. I graduated to science fiction in high school and the mystery/thriller genre after college. After getting a degree from the University of Michigan I worked in the tough business world for many years. My wife and I had children and they came first. We both worked. After retiring we started writing novels, and finally had one published in 2012.
