“Great book. Very funny. Even though some of the car terminology went over my head, I loved Clarkson's amusing descriptions of the places he went to.”

“I really enjoyed the writing style of this book. It is such an interesting story and I found some of the characters to be quite perverse, especially the main character who is fascinating in a creepy way. I love the idea that scents can change a person's feelings towards another. Its very clever.”
Nat S would like to own a book.

“Fifty Shades of Shite is the best way to describe this book. The writing is terrible and the characters have serious issues. I have never wanted to throw a book at a wall so much in my life. “Fifty Shades of Shite is the best way to describe this book. The writing is terrible and the characters have serious issues. I have never wanted to throw a book at a wall so much in my life. The constant use of phrases like, "My Internal Goddess", "My Subconscious", and "Oh My!" made me want to scream. I can't believe this book wasn't edited properly. Anastasia's internal monologues were ridiculous and childish while Christian Grey's character seemed like a power-hungry, domineering stalker who basically emotionally abuses Ana (who we are to believe is an innocent virgin). Bloody ridiculous. How anyone can think their relationship is romantic and healthy is beyond me? Sure, they have some good sex at times but are we expected to believe that she orgasms that many times in a row without a rest? Give me a break!!! And the tampon scene and bath sex made me cringe. He controls her to the point of violence. That is not sexy. I don't know how this book became so popular. I don't recommend it at all, not even if you're desperate for something to read. Don't do it to yourself. I wish I hadn't.”(read full review)
