I am a budding novelist. I like to takle the occult, rape, adoption, and the true Power of God in our lives.
My heart aches for the lost and hurting, esp the youth. This generation seems to wander aimlessly through life, not knowing their purpose or destiny. Our greatest destiny in life is to know God through Jesus Christ.
This has been my destiny, to guide others to Him since I was 14 years old. There is nothing I would rather do. I will use any means possible to teach the Good News - whether writing fiction, teaching, hugging an AIDS victim, or reaching out at a crisis pregnancy center.
Well, I am about to lock myself a way for a bit to write. I need to finish Light in the Darkness and get working on Apocolypse.
Nano is over and I got around 8k words. No where near where I wanted, but had to deal with dad's surgery, me in a car wreck agian (minor), and several family situations that had to be mediated or the law was going to be brought in.
As I was dealing with all of this, I found out that my 8 year old cousin had been molested a few weeks prior. That was one of the hardest things I have ever dealt with. I was filled with rage and anger, yet broken because it was a kid (15) who had done this. I wanted to beat him, then turn and hug him until he received healing from his own pain.
Sorry for not being around for several weeks - life just got more hectic than I could handle - and a new computer. Finally got the laptop I have been wanting.
Now, I head for a new job. I will be working 10 hour days (but thankfully, only 4 days a week). It is in sales, so those 10 hour 4 day weeks could turn into more hours and days. Who knows. But I am going to try to pace myself and see if there is any way possible I can do much of my work from home. Please pray!!
God is truly blessing us in all things. I am ready to see what 08 brings.
