by the way, i read your bio. while it is kinda silly to want to read books because a fictional character likes them, whatever gets you to read great literature is a good thing! and many of us have idolized fictional characters at some point in our lives:)

as to the ivy league school, if you can get in, and if your parents can afford it, or if you get a full scholarship, make sure you do two things, and neither one of them are assured at any institution, 1st, learn something, 2nd, make sure you great at least a four year degree!
by the way, look around and do your research, there are actually plenty of schools that offer better education in some fields than the ivy league, remember, they are more famous for being old than good, that said, a degree from harvard, yale, princton, columbia, penn, or some such, does carry some cachet, but a good education and a piece of paper from your local state college can be the right way to go, too. jsut go and finish somewhere, and learn something and meet some cool people there!

Welcome to 1001 books. You can keep track of the books you have read from the book, 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die here and join in the discussions on the books we are reading for the month (from the book) or you can argue the merits of the list as some enjoy doing. We hope you will want to join in our discussions. The current books are at the top of the list for that month. If there is any way I or Mossflower can answer your questions about the group or about Shelfari, let us know.
If you don’t own the book the list can be found http://www.listology.com/content_show.cfm?content_id=22845. A downloadable list of the second edition is available at http://johnandsheena.co.uk/books/?page_id=160.

I see you gave The Outsiders 5 stars. I love that book!

Anyways, there are lots of other RBC folks here, too. If you take a look at my friends list, you can probably find them, too.
