I am a husband (same wonderful woman for 30 years), father (six kids, ages 23 -14, which currently amounts to 109 kidyears and they continue to age me at about the rate of 6 to 1), son, brother, friend, community member and leader, author (nonfiction-legal and motivational; fiction - legal/medical thrillers and young adult adventure), and lawyer (general business and personal law); in that order.
Having lived a lot of places and done a lot of things, I have also read a lot of books along the way. Now, I am writing my own.
I've published several titles on debt collection and am currently working on more about personal legal issues, but such is not where my heart lies. My spirit currently drives my writing in the motivational and young adult adventure genre.
My latest project is the new young adult adventure series,
The Arnie Carver Adventures. Arnie Carver is the alter-ego of Thayne Davidson Miller, III, the world's wealthiest teenage orphan.
In the first book of the series,
Arnie Carver and the Plague of Demeverde,Thayne hates his life because he has to live behind a wall of security guards, who keep him from having much fun at all. He's the only son of two only children, with no extended family or real friends. Thayne's wealthy parents are killed on the way to his thirteenth birthday party, which causes Thayne to become the world's wealthiest orphan. Deciding to become more a part of the world instead of continuing to live apart from it, Thayne adopts the alter ego of Arnie Carver and enrolls in the Global Optimum Development Academy, an international boarding high school for gift kids located in the tropical Atlantic island paradise of Demeverde.
To learn all about Thayne please see www.ArnieCarver.com. .
I have also published a motivational parable,
Great! All the Time!, which tells the story of a transformation of a young businessman as he shifts his paradigm from being completely focused on making a living to a more balance focus on making a life. Feel free to explore the idea further at www.GreatAllTheTime.com
I am looking to meet other readers and writers here on Shelfari to enhance mutual lives. I look forward to adding you to my circle of friends.
